Bottom Section construction (part 2)

The outer lip of the blanking plate is filed down to fit the inside of the base plate lower ring. The two rings of the baseplate (tank connector) can be either welded or screwed together.

Your anti-abrasion dish now needs to be fitted inside the blanking plug, and secured. Choose a suitable glue to hold it in place. Not super glue, as it will come off in time, suggest a silcon based product (like bath sealer / aquarium sealer), see manufacturers instructions for suitablity with your dish. Once secure, weld the banking plug in to the baseplate.

The bottom main fitting can now be solvent welded in to the baseplate.
