Hello.
My son has a small tank and 3 small goldfish, despite the PH, Ammonia, Nitrate levels etc being fine we keep getting fatalities. The symptoms are always black patches / spots on the tips of the fins and sometimes on the head too, while this is a very vague description I have included 2 images of the latest casualty. Any help / information would be welcome.

thres a picture of it in this book but no description its under a problem called hydra

unsure if the two are linked tho
