Hi I am new to here, we have successfully managed comets, shubumpkins, Orfs and green tench and just purchased a silver ghost koi - who was pestered by the shubumpkins from the moment the koi hit the water, chased to the point of nearly coming out of the water. The koi was found lying on the bottom of the pond gasping Sad

Water PH is good and we have a pump, filter, waterfall and fountain, so plenty of oxygen
the koi has now died - Is it usual for the other fish to pester a new fish - especially if they are a different colour?? We were told pond fish are not agressive - but our were to the point of stressing the koi to death??

we had soem comets pester other fish on the side note
