what size tank should i get?

i got a 240rio(240liters). i have 4 fish (plec fire eel,pangussis and clown knife fish) their big fish already. knife is new two days old 3inchs? what im getting at is how big should my new tank be?[/img][/i]

Generally it is as big as you possibly can, it'll never be big enough!

That will then determine how many fish, or how many fish 'inches' you can keep. When measuring - an inexact science at best, do not include the tail fin.
