I have recently made a pond im garden. over the last few weeks we have been adding gold fish of various sizes the biggest being about 6-7inches long they all settled in fine and where happy. yesterday i went to my local aquatics and decided to buy 2 Green Tench and 2 Canary Goldfish, i got them home introduced them to the pond and of course the tench went straight to the bottom and where hard to see which i was expecting from the tench then i went away for a few hours came back and the two tench where unseen as where both the canary goldfish bright yeallow bodys and i couldnt see them anywhere! my pond isnt that big and as its new theres not many places for them to hide! i looked in all the little coves and everything but no fish?... do you think something has eaten them? but why only the new ones? and not the small goldfish that was in there previously?.. any thoughts?..
