hello i was wondering what are some good healthy treats for cichlids?
is letuce a good treat for cichlids they seem to like it[?]

What sort of Chiclids have you got, African (ie. Lake Malawi, etc.) or Central/South American, etc?
Not that their food requirements vary that much, but it would help to know, just the same....

| I like to give mine raw seafood. They seem to enjoy it. I have also had oscars that ate rice crispies. Basically, anything that has not been processed or cooked is good. As much organic matter as possible. My favourite thing to feed cichilids is probably earthworms though. They are high in easily digestable protien and nutrients as long as you make sure that there are no pesticides in them! |
